Wingate, Sept 9 – Mrs. Alta DeVore Evans,
wife of Arthur H. Evans, two miles north of here died this forenoon at Culver
Hospital, Crawfordsville after a long illness. She was a member of the Wingate
Chapter OES. Surviving is the husband. Body at the Teague Funeral Home after 4
p.m. Monday for services at 2:30 Tuesday.
